I know it's not rigged, intellectually I know anyway, however spiritually you'd bleedin well think it was after the run I've been on after a run of winning days recently. Anyway, if anything is rigged it's not the poker sites, it's me.. I'm a bok. Bella the Bok. No matter what site I play on I'm just getting savaged.. you've not (well I'm sure you have if you've played as long) seen suckouts like it. Ill-inducing they are. Infact I was sick all of yesterday and I'm like 90+% sure it was bad beat induced. :-P

Loads of people I know are off to a poker festival next week and I wanted to win enough to be able to go and play, but the way I'm running now it doesn't seem very likely. :-( (Anyone wanna back me for it.. 50/50 and I'll get you an autographed picture of me and Annette 15? Quite an offer I'm sure you'll agree. Teeheehee. Or just Annette if you prefer.).

In other exciting news, I went to see Sex and the City the other day and have found a new favourite celeb in Samantha.. chuh forget Britney the loon.. Samantha is quality. Made me laugh loads. Besides the laughing I pretty much cried from opening credits to ending... nothing make me tearful more than a happy ending.. awwwwwwwwww.. 'cept for when Jack dies in Titanic. V v bad indeed.

Start university in 6 and a half weeks. That's something to vaguely look forward to I suppose. Still waiting to hear about accommodation.. fingers crossed for the en-suite!

No, not me.. if anything I've gotten worse.. however..

Observation of the year (lol); Sngs used to be so much easier but now everybody just operates the same strategy.. ie play uber tight at the beginning before shoving when the blinds get big. So rare you get a total maniac who just comes in game after game and 'donates' (i hate that word) like they used to back in the day. Was speaking to someone the other day who says all the players he knows who used to be big winners are now just rakeback kings who are passing money back and forth between themselves and their opponents all the time. So it'd seem that even more than ever before, discipline and immene BRM are imperative to becoming a long term winner. (At the stakes I'm playing at least). Zzzzz :( . . Still I spose its better than a summer job in some crappy shop. Obviously this improvement is totally unsurprising, seeing as the poker boom has calmed down now and the amount of new players will have decreased.. and also the majority of losing players will have probably stopped playing. Bring back the bad maniacs, imo.

Whilst I'm waiting to sort myself out a new Betfair account - tis proving a right pain the arse for me to deposit due to proving my age or some lark - I'm trying to play all properly and successfully on low stake sngs using the $200 I've got in Ladbrokes. Played 6 so far today.. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, lost a HU to someone who was getting smacked in the face with the deck, 1st and 6th currently still in-play... Meh coulda got off to a better start.. could have been worse too I suppose. Nice... just lost the 6th to a 3 outer on the turn. Marvy.

Once I've finished college I am gonna have loads of free time and therefore more time to play poker. Ie I won't be spending my afternoons either too tired to play properly or days off catching up on work I've left till the last minute. (Well impressed myself by finishing my 3000 word research project 4 days before the deadline though.. I am an UBERGEEK). So anyhoo, as I was saying, I finish soon, only a presentation, an exam and and essay to go, and then I have all of summer til I start uni towards the end of September. So what I'm gonna do is one of those proper blog type efforts like I see on other people's. Where they have like their bankroll and then they comment on how much they're up or down every few days or whatever. Seeing as I won't be working over summer, *chuh - as if :P* cept for maybe mowing the lawn for a reasonable fee.. That's what I had to do last summer at one point - grr.. anyhoo that is a tangent, back on topic.. I spose I'll try make it my main source of income.. (read; only source of earned income). Yars so that's the plan. I'm writing this up here to make sure I remember that this is my plan once I've finished college incase I forget and do something crazy like take up knitting or something to pass the time.

I have a busy weekend coming up, am meeting some irish dude tonight to get my treasured privilege card back, he clearly stole it from me that night I thought it'd be a good idea to have races and get on random buses etc... Jolly good thing people have consciences! Infact that reminds me of the time of my 'friend' blatantly stole my diamond ring which I got for my 18th which belonged to my great grandma, but then had an attack of conscience (or was worried when I told her I was gonna check out pawn shops) and 'found' it on my bedroom floor.. Then on Sat I've my best friends 21st. Wooooo.

So anyway I spose I'd better go do some handwashing ( washing machine is broken ) and other household chores. Tooooodles :)

Aww I just found out my pal is back from Australia after 7 months travelling.. I'm really pleased! Haven't seen him for aaaaaaaages. :-) :-)

Went away for a few days last week before going to my cousin's wedding. They made me do a ceilidh..! Tis like some crazy celtic dance where you have to skip around doing circle of 8s and clapping your hands etc. Obv I pulled it off in style *cough*... couldn't stop laughing at all.

Gonna be busy next 4 weeks before the end of term, well I can finish before then if only I get myself in gear... have quite a few things to do and will end up leaving myself only 2 days to them no doubt.. Imagine being one of those organised people, would be ace.

STILL got no poker updates, tis weird I seem to be really busy at the mo and not really having time to play very much, will have even less time with all the work I gotta do. Will defo play tonight though unless I go and watch the new Sex and the City film.

KP showed me a poker article ages ago which I really wanna read again and post up here to see what other people think. I shall get onto finding it.

Bonjourno mon amis,

Anyhoo I haven't updated for a while I know but that's as I've not been playing very much poker at all and I feel seely updating just to fill people in on what I've been up to as unless you know me personally you probably won't be interested and if you do know me personally then you'll probably already know. Omg, I'm out of breath just reading that sentence back in my head.

However.. e-way I shall update on some drunken debauchary tales for you at some point if you like.. Actually, I took an impromptu tour of London on Sunday night after the club had shut by deciding it'd be a good idea to get on the first bus from Trafalgar Square that came along with some Random Loon I'd acquired earlier on during the evening.. As you do. Ended up in Camden (I wanted to go to Hampstead Heath to see where my favourite gayalist - George Michael - was busted though instead) where the RL met a Somalian who then taxi'd us to some other London destination but I can't remember where atm. All clubs and pubs were shut so I bought some ridiculous ovepriced drink and food from a German Sausage Lady, then got locked in a pub and won a 20 metre sprint vs RL (I suspect he might have let me win) before heading off to get on several tubes. Finally arrived home at about 9am, soaked and knackered after having fallen asleep on the train and missing my stop. Hurrah!

I'll try win a decent MTT this evening so that I've got some poker related news to put on here.

Gets in the way of alot doesn't it? All this lark about swallowing it, but what if you do and it results in a big old bruised ego? But then if you let it get in the way too much then you'll never know what might have happened if you'd not let pride get in the way. I'm always deciding to stop letting pride restrict me so much but I never stick to it. I suppose the opposite of being prideful is being brave.... or, in some situations, being pathetic and getting walked all over. Is this called being melancholy? I'm not sure.. I shall investigate.

Interesting holiday destinations

Was at college today and walking through the cafe. Some bloke calls out 'Kimberley' as I walked past, but clearly, that's not my name (it isn't Jane either, if you're up on the zeitgeist of music). I assumed he'd confused me with someone else and kept walking. Anyhoo, standing by the till waiting to pay and over this fellow comes a-toddling. 'You're Bella yeah?'.. I say yars and just stare at him blankly whilst a tumbleweed blows by. After about 45 minutes of silence, he informs me apparently I'd met him in a pub about 8 months ago and that he'd texted me to meet up with him and I'd replied saying I couldn't meet up with him as I was off on holiday...... 'How was Cuba by the way' he asks... 'Er.....hot! Yeah very hot' I tell him (Cuba! I'm an idiot - lol) before making a speedy flustered excuse and running back off to class. He called after me that he was gonna give me a ring to maybe meet up with him.. so that means I'm gonna have to go make up a ridiculous excuse all over again. :-P

Giving up smoking today. Always said I'd give up when I was 21, however I am 20 and 2/3rds anddd I've already managed to go 2 days so far without a cigarette. I might still be tempted to smoke when I'm out and drinking so not gonna rule out doing that entirely, but at least shall attempt to majorly cut down. Thing is, I never wanted to be a non-smoker or an ex-smoker, which sounds ridiculous as obviously smoking isn't actually cool, despite what I might say at other times. :-p .... Totally a habit of association, so I just need to disassociate smoking with my daily life. For example, when I'm in the shower I never think 'Oooh, I'm dying for a fag'... So surely I can train myself to not crave a cigarette whenever I've just eaten a meal or am waiting at the stop for the peasant wagon etc...

Anyhoo, I recommend everyone else tries to give up too... Apparently it makes us stink anyway. Duno what people are on about tho cos I like it when dudes smell of beer and smoke! Praps I'm in the minority..

Duh, of course I should be doing Engleesh for my degree. (Shame you can't do a degree in typing in a foreign accent..) Anyhoo, not sure how easy it'll be to change but gonna look into eet.

SERIOUSLY IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP IN THIS HEAT. 2 minutes after getting into bed you're stuck to the sheets. Probably should consider ditching my quilt in order to snooze better. Due to unreasonable weather during the night time, I've been forced to take time off college in order to catch up on the missed hours :-p.

Was going to go play poker this evening in Londres town, buttttt I discovered that you can't withdraw money from the bank with only the card part of your driving license.. apparently you need the paper part too? This is mentalness imo, nothing I can do about it though so was unable to access any cash. Hurumphski.

Have you heard that weed has been reclassified as Class B? This means potentially all stoners (or recreational smokers - whatever) could go down for 5 years if caught in possession! The rest of the world is decriminalising green and what do Britain do? Bump it right back up, thereby turning all people who smoke it into 'criminals'. Shocking, foolish behaviour by Gordy B living at number 10 imo. If they just legalised it, so many problems would be solved. Money would be out of the hands of scummy proper crims and it could be controlled properly. I don't know why the government won't just accept that people are going to smoke green regardless of the laws surrounding it. Also, if everyone went to the pubs/clubs/bars and it was legal to get stoned instead of pissed.. there'd be SO much more laughing and WAY less fighting. Tis all very odd.

I loooove it when summer starts up. All the tables get set up outside the pubs and bars so you can once again drink and smoke whilst out. Everywhere smells all summery. You get all inspired to get fit etc... Woo tis marvy. Also get to start planning holidays again.

Haven't played much poker since Thurs seeing as it's been the weekend and all.. skived off college today but in my semi-asleep state decided that I'd spend today working on my history presentation, instead of playing, to make up for taking a day off. I've yet to begin.

AHHHHH GRRRRR,

Just came 2nd in the $40k 2nd chance GTD. Am guttttttted. Should have won. Losing hand was A6 vs KJ however I defo didn't play as good HU as I could have done. DAMNATION STATIONS. Raaaaaaaaa.

However bar my somewhat poor play HU.. that's the best I've played in a mtt for ages. So can't complain too much. No outdraws (inflicted by me.. had a couple of bad beats along the way) and only saw aces once in 7 hours. Wooo hopefully form has returned.

Annnd $8500 is $8500 I spose :) :). Final table was about 2 and a half hours, there was 10 left for at least an hour untill I K'Od a short stack with JJ vs their AK. That is one marathon FT!

Chuh! I'm not sure how many times in the past two days I've tripped over a dodgy piece of pavement, but it's gotta be at least five. The most memorable being infront of a group of builders digging the streets of London. I also can't help but react like a goof. The second I start tripping (over the crack, not on ze drugs) I start chuckling and smiling to myself.. and once the trip is all done, I look back at the piece of pavement all disapprovingly as if the pavement should appreciate it's done wrong and apologise. Must stop doing this as people will no doubt start to think I am a grade A loon. Speaking of which, I was on the peasant wagon the other day and it freakin lurched forward as I was walking to my seat...... ooooooover she goes into the front window, laughing to herself again. Really. I don't know. Presumably in my head I think laughing at myself falling will pre-empt anyone else who dares to find it amusing from mocking me but I don't think it works!

Tis football time of the week again, wooooo, lemme go study the form and contemplate which bets I shall be putting on... ;-) (Can you 'study the form' in footy, or is that a horse racing only thing?)

Ok so I have reaaaaaaaaaaaally bad hiccups which is vvvv annoying. Right so, i tell you, you try and do a good deed and you just get it thrown back in your face. Basicallies, I found a phone on the floor in the pub the other night when I was looking for some of my lost belongings. I lose things alot, I often lose myself infact but this time I knew where I was but I didn't know where my purse had trekked of to. Anyhoo that is an irrelevent tangent. So yeah, I find a phone and put it in my bag to ring the owner or one of his pals later cos I know how upsetting tis to lose your phone adn then for some pikey to nick it.

SOooooooooooooo gets to later, like 3am or whatever and after looking through the phone and finding no 'mum' in the contacts or 'home' I look through his texts and and decide to ring the last person who texted him...

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.... 'hello?'.. Some random dude answers and I'm all 'hiiiiii, i found your friends phone.. this was the only number it made sense to ring' in my cheery drunky friendly manner.. So didn't really wanna write about anything non-poker related. (Although really, why would poker talk be anymore interesting than anything else I might choose to say?) Anyhoo, my toast has jus popped up.. brb.

Mmm marmite. What is really weird that is that for just under 4 years I did nothing day in day out, ie didn't go to work or college, but after 7 months at college a couple of days a week I suddenly can't cope with 2 weeks of free time? Wish I'd exercised more haste, less speed last February and had gone on holiday now instead of at half term. Still, at least I've been on lots of health boosting bike rides! I can go round corners no hands.. wooooo0o0o0o0ooo. Next I wanna learn how to go no handed and stand up and pedal at the same time. I digress.. (as per).. I really hope I'm not turning into one of those people who likes to work as they enjoy the routine or whatever weirdo reason people claim. That would be hell.

Just remembered I have to go trekking across London today with my stupid suitcase in tow. It's so hard maneouvring it just right in order to get up and down escalators and through ticket barriers and it takes up so much space in the carriages.. should probably just get myself a smaller bag. Oooh did you know, that if you lose your ticket you don't necessarily have to buy another one or pay a penalty fare? I was totally stranded at London Bridge yesterday having somehow lost my ticket. The nice men at the ticket barriers rang through to my destination station (teehee that is like rageation stations but accidental) and told them to expect me and let me through. Most kind.

Ok just experimented on betting on the Grand National for myself. I spent HOURS studing the form ;-). Lol - I've backed Cloudy Lane to win and Mr Pointment and Comply or Die e/w.

(Did that sound all professional like I knew what I was doing?) Anyhoo.. I'm getting quite into this gambling business. Albeit somewhat unsuccessful so far. (Loyalty backing of Liverpool in the CL match).

Sorted my uni accommodation today. Aaarrrrgghhh - if I don't get ensuite I'm not going. :) (seriously). Also they asked if I had any genuine reason why, if it came to it, I wouldn't be able to share with another student......... I beg your pardon? I explained how I have a very irregular sleep pattern (not to mention I have been known to talk about really random topics whilst asleep!) and was worried I may disturb another student if I had to share. They probably see 10000 reasons and excuses like that but mine is actually true! (Well, it used to be very true, now it's more of a semi-truth, so it still counts).

GLGL all. Am hitting the higher stake tables tomorrow ($5/10 probably) with some monies in the hope of doubling/trebling/quadrupling etc up or alternatively bustttttttttto-ing my 'my white piece of asssssssssss..... ' (Hiya Tyrone!). Shall update afterwards with how it went.

Have been putting off writing the worlds dullest essay for too long and I'd actually better do it now.. *sigh*. For crying out loud. I love mtts, I hate mtts. I love mtts, I hate mtts. Love/hate/love/hate. Actually I just hate them. I am clearly losing my mind somewhat.

So intensely irritating. All I want poker gods is a lick of luck at the later stages and just one big $30k or so win (not even that beeg comparitively is it). Is it reallllly so much to ask for? I ty in advance.

I've tried every differnet approach that I know of. Tight, loose, aggressive, passive, attempts at cunning timing, uberloon etc.. Just can't close the deal these days. :-( Tis a far cry from my mtt glory days. What has changed? Perhaps I should go back to playing under my v old aliases. Maybe they helped rather than hindered. Grrrrrrrrr. If anyone has any pearls of wisdom or tips to share please feel free to leave a comment.

In other exciting news: I have pretty much decided which university I'm going to accept an offer from. Admittedly that isn't particularly interesting news for youuu, but tis for meee. Wooooo. I based my choice on which place had the union which seemed the best. Am now obsessed with making sure the student accommodation I get is a deluxe room with a double bed and ensuite. I don't care if that's against the spirit of studentdom. Speaking of which should probably go buy some hoodies and Converse trainers before I go to make sure I have the Student Look (as modelled by me.. a bit like the London Look by Kate Moss.. but less glam and more scruffy I suppose.. maybe scruffy and glam .. Scram infact)... What a rambling tangent. Tis time for a new paragraph I think.

I am such a reformed geek, we have to do this maths module at college as part of the course and I'm too embarrassed to say the answers any more cos I can sense the vibes of hatred from the other students who struggle to add 2 and 2. (Tee hee hee, hope they don't read this). Have done well so far at keeping my secret geekdom just that, but I'm letting the facade slip and soon they might stop thinking I'm so cool if I keep this up for too long *wink*.

Regretting playing today. Played some $100 HU sngs and did well but then proceeded to donate all profits back on 6 seater turbo sngs and HU cash. I think I have issues when it comes to playing HU cash. I've perhaps also developed some kind of stress/concentration headache!

Plus Ladbrokes doesn't have resizeable tables and it drives me mad. Don't like having to be so close to the screen in order to see the cards and afaik there is nothing wrong with my eyesight.

Anyhoo my friend has just told me she wants a skinhead, must dash and make sure she doesn't shave her head before she's due to come out with me at the weekend. After a weekend of randomness in my hometown (I was ordered back for an emergency night out on the Friday by one of my old best friends who had recently split up with her boyfriend.. who then proceeded to tell everyone bloke we spoke to that she had just split up with her boyfriend before literally jumping them - 'you go girl' as big black american mamas would say). I was sitting in a bar one evening whilst on holiday, when this spanish looking old dude starts chatting to me and telling me what nice hair I have etc. Typical perving I assume. Anyhoo, before you know it he has whipped out a camera and despite my demands to stop it he has started snapping away, even following me as I ran out the bar! Felt like I was being papped.

Anyhoo, forgot all about it till the last day of the trip. Was downstairs at the hotel bar buying a baby bottle of champagne (best thing about the whole place is you could get cava in the pubs) when next to me I spot a fairly sizeable bag. Imprinted upon the bag is loads of photos of all these blondey fair skinned girls. I look to the owner of the bag.... lo and behold, tis el pervechops the photographer from the bar. CREEEEEPY!! He was just sat there rifling through HUNDREDS of photos of british/irish looking girls, presumably all caught on his camera in a similar fashion to how I was.

If anyone goes to Gran Canaria and sees my face on a bag, please get the bag owner's details and let me know as I shall be sending the Gran Canaria Loon a bill for such unauthorised use of my pic.... chuh.

Probably the most enjoyable form of poker but definitely the must frustrating. Sick of bridesmaiding in them. Must be due a win soon enough but so annoying getting close and then bad beaten/or occasionally donking ;-) in the final stages.

I can't believe it's been just over a year since I first ever wrote on this blog! Time goes so quickly the older you get. To think I was just a young girl of 19 instead of the grown up 20 year old I am now. :)

I note I last updated late June in 2007. My memory is so bad I can't even remember what's happened since then. Been on a couple of holidays/trips, played a bit more live poker in a few new locations, Lost 'friends', found new friends, lost old friends have resurfaced (you know who you are although you claim you hate this but I bet you read it anyway!).

Just back from 10 days in the Canary Islands. Whilst I did have a good time, I probably wouldn't recommend the place we were to anyone and it's unlikely I'd go back. I don't think those kinda holidays are for me really.. few too many hooligans and whatnot. Good to say I've been though and defo don't regret going. Was a good break away apart from the sickness on Tuesday which kinda put a dampener on things (apologies to the occupants of one of the rooms in Greefields for being unwell all over your bathroom - teehee). I hate flying too and on the way back there was some quite savage turbulence, well the worst I'd experienced anyway, I actually thought I was probably gonna die and fyi, your life doesn't flash before your eyes, all you see is blinding white panic.

Anyway, to the point of this post (besides boredom and having just come 14th in a 241 runner tourney and feeling ragey and tilty) .. BETFAIR.

I personally think it is nothing short of an outrage that I got banned from suggesting a certain poster engaged in a sexual act with a goat, whilst others (who shall not be named.. to protect me rather than them ;-)) who participated in a certain scam not so long ago are back on the forum and free to post! This shows a shocking lack of prioritising and care for reputation by Betfair imo. Fortunately the forum has gone so downhill recently that it's hardly as if I'm missing out on anything by being banned anyway. Tis the principle of it though. Hurumph.

The Weekend

On Friday I had arranged to meet up with a few players from the poker forum who were playing Duffs Homie on the Saturday night in Basingstoke. I couldn't play the actual game myself as I had previous arrangements for the Sat night.

So, one of my best chums and I set off to meet them all at about 8pm. The train journey was eventful as there were many suited up, pissed up, Ascot-visiting hooligans lurking around. Including the new mates Em and I made on the train. Some dude of about 40 comes over seemingly to try his luck.. as if he was getting anywhere anyway, but the lack of interest was confirmed by our reaction when he chucked up EVERYWHERE. Euuugh it was ming. 'Absolutely vile' infact. (loool ty big brother people for overusing vile and putting it in my head.)

Arrive in Basingstoke at about 9. Bizarrely humid last Friday, double the humidity it was in Singapore and Thailand!!! So trekking around looking for somewhere to get everyone to meet us, flustered and slightly overheating. V fun. Anyhoo.. turns out, that Basingstoke is THE WORST PLACE TO GO OUT EVER! OMG I am never complaining about my hometown again, unbelievable scenes! Try Chicagos as we recognise the brand name and it was honestly horrendous. I'm not really snobbish about things like that, but it was so knackered looking and scruffy. The people in there were a bit scary and the barmaid was actually a bit terrifying. So try relocating to Llyods bar (which in all honesty was absolutely rubbish too) but we decided to get them to meet us there. Shame tho as I like those two and their hooligannary. lol. Quickly down our drinks before Jazzy, Strak, VaRiAnCe, Em and I head off to find somewhere else to go...

Where do we find ourselves back at? Chicagos! However, it really is the company that makes the night and not the location as the rest of the evening proved. Canaryboy, Mavis, Boro Fc (the only over 30 representative there.. nuff respect to the hardcoreness compared to those other lightweights) Ruru and Sunday8pm turned up later on and general drinking ensued. I think at one point the number of pints on the table was outnumbering the people in attendance by about 6 to1!

After doing $200 last night and $80 this morning, then $40 just now, just played 5 $50 HU and won 4/5. Also jus won another $130 on the cash tables. SO currently stand $10 up! LOL. Ship it. Had won all previous days losses back on cash table earlier untill I had my KK savaged by 53. Lol. That's the problem with playing low stakes is that it's jus impossible to tell if they've actually busted my Kings or if they have overpair to low flop or TPTK. Still, Mavis gave me some sound advice on this matter which I have taken on board so hopefully this shan't become a regular occurrence! After 2 years of tournament poker, still gotta learn how to fully switch my mentality over when playing cashers.

Came 70th in 100k gtd last night.. which is good in terms of my strike rate in that tourney as did make small profit, but shocking really seeing as I want to win the damnnnnnnnnned thing already!

Only Monday.. plenty of time this week to win my losses back and finish the week in profit.

As it is pretty apparent from the comments on this blog and elsewhere, clearly alot of people seem to object to me. I am genuinely interested as to why this is? For example, why do you feel the need to come and abuse every aspect of me that you can? I don't really understand, if you could perhaps explain what it is I've done which you feels justify such behaviour I would love know. Perhaps then I could remedy it in the future.

Ooooooook. So back playing a bit of cash again. Doing ok. Bout $1500 up on poker in past couple of days. Ain't gonna complain if I can sustain $750 a day profit. ;-) Though don't reckon I will. $100-200 seems feasible though. Enjoy poker alot again.

Anyhooooo, it's nearly the weekend. One of my mates turns 20 next week so have her birthday to celebrate. Very strange having friends from school who are pretty much officially grown up! I am treasuring the next 3 months!

Played the $100k GTD last night and have just about got over the horrifcness of placing 14th from 603.. :-(. I went out with 66 vs AK so can't complain too much, but to get so close to a possible $24k payday is sooo grrrrrr-some! Is like having Jay Hernandez in the very next room but being told that you absolutely cannot go in.

Anyhoo, I only feel as if I made one mistake, which had I had a better run of cards would matter even less than it did. Called a raise with AK in mp and was forced to lay it down when c/o reraised and original raiser shoved. They shockingly showed AA and QQ. Imagine that! Was a reckless call though and whilst it could have been rewarded had AA not been behind me, it was too big a raise in relation to the blinds to have just flat called with my stack at the time, imo.

I don't care what anybody says, you can't win a 603 runner mtt without at some point winning a race or two. I just wasn't winning the right races last night. Not alot I can do about it. The only consolation is that I'm not sat here thinking 'I should have done this, I should have done that', I think I played it pretty well, especially considering the circumstances (couple of people watching and that soooo often puts me on mini-tilt!) and just didn't get the bit of luck that I needed.

Really annoying though as last time I played it I came 12th.. swore I was going to never play it again after having my 77 busted by 66 at 8am, after staying up to play it after getting in from the pub for a mate....

Oh well. Maybe next time.

Bad Beat Live Final

Soooo, Headgirl's Henchmen played the bad beat live final today. My mum, Biz Boz Baz, Systems and I participated. My mum and I arrived 2 hours late, in true Jones style.. 'fashionably late' as Doobs put it. ;-)

Wasn't in for long, couple of hands of note. Took Lynchem out with a set of tens v his top pair, but then redonated most of the chips I'd won from him bluffing into a big stacks trip jacks. Well embarrassing showing a bluff after only having been at the table for 15 mins! God knows what he put me on cos he just flat called the river! Clearly giving Headgirl far too much respect. Lol.
Went out about an hour and a half in with 44 vs AJ. Ahhh well. Hadn't played live for ages n was mingingly hungover and knackered... Plus after misunderstanding what the dealer said, I passed when getting about 3/1 vs short stacks all in. Looked so bad, sent me onto proper tilt. My own fault really, dealer said '13 more' and I assumed he'd jus reraised out of the blind, wasn't willing to call a reraise, didn't know he had actually moved all in, which I would most definitely had called had I known... Grrrrrrr!

Anyway, despite my poor effort... WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it??!?!?!?!?!

........... Nah me either. We didn't really win. I think the highest anyone placed from the team was 40th (n1 Systems :-)) whereas the other 3 of us were all in the 80s. BizBoz got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and Weed's QQ got savaged by 99 all in pre. :-(

Was nice seeing some people who I recognised from other games and from the tables. (Special shout out to my team mates of course!) and The Hunnies, Chip Monkeys, most of the Degenerate Wronguns, few of the Great White Sharks, specially Jazzy.. also nice to meet the likes of FISHMAC (who I've seen on the tables loads!) and apologising to Uhlah for my unreserved rudeness of a few weeks ago! (Whoopppppsie.)

LOL absolutely got to mention 'SHANE MC FUCKING C' who was v nice, v pissed I suspect and well funny. Seriously can't remember the last time I laughed that hard. Stomach was killing and tears streaming down face. Haha, what a legend. Also Whitedog who was pretty much non-stop entertaining since telling us about his bad beat after he was knocked out.

Hmmm definitely will have forgotten a few things as vvvvv tired and bit drunky, will fill in gaps tomorrow.

Woke up mid (ok late) afternoon, danced around room a bit (rude not to seeing as I found my Britney's greatest hits cd) then went downstairs and loaded up zee poker..

Got off to a bad start (typical - I am a very bad first thing when I wake-upper person in any respect, hardly surprising poker is no different) and lost my first 2 games. By the time I'd played them it was time for Bad Beat tournament, which I managed to acqyuire a 10k stack and still finished outside the top 50! Brilliant donking took place, I am quite proud. I rarely do that actually, often if I've got a big chip lead I will usually manage to at least make the money.. not today though. Was all a bit emarrassing. Bad bluff, then AT into AK (on the blind) for a 8k pot. Chucked my last 2k chips in the middle in a tantrum with K3s and got called by AK - ha. Anyway, I then ventured back over to the sngs where I managed to improve the situation for a while, untill I started getting savaged. My AA being done by T6s was one particularly unfortunate incident. As was my 77 vs 69 on a 8789 board, all in on turn, river.... 9! LOL... oh well. Recovered from that and ventured back over to HU, where my strike rate is pretty impressive (even if I do say so myself!) and managed to salvage some of my money back. Anyway, I then ran well in my next few tournaments and managed to end the day in profit. Woooooo.

I bet that was really interesting wasn't it. :-)

Hmm, way I see it now, if I can sustain £100 a day profit, including the games I play 'for fun', when I don't need to play and on tilt, then that'd be ok. £500 a week tax free sounds good to me. Obviously it's not going to make me rich, but I don't think I really need more at the moment. Obv if my bank continues to grow I'll up stakes but at the moment I'm pretty happy where I am. Should definitely stop playing so many games that I don't play properly though. Was no need to have played 15 games today!!!!!! Still, I'm got my discipline quite alot better, can't ask for too much too soon. Least I've improved. :-)

Friday tomorrow (well today for your pesky pedants) - my all time favourite day of the week!

Good Morning,

After being up alllll night like some kind of pure lunatic, I thought I may aswell update the blog. Played 17 sngs today and ran horribly so it's a miracle I made any profit at all. No mtts today as didn't think I had the patience and don't like to just throw money down the drain. (Although I have done that literally and in poker terms many a time!).

I will at some point go and count how many I placed in and won but it can't have been enough as I've only finished the day £100 up. Which is shocking. Should be double that if it wasn't for the savagery. Although saying that, I did absolutely donk off in spectacular style when I was down to the final 4 in one of my games. It was well embarrassing and I'm ashamed anybody witnessed it. Was the final straw though and really made me realise that you gotta play for 1st and not play just to make the money.. Get so worked up about sharkscope stats though. Bad to think about that too as makes you tenser. Odd that I care more about my ROI than my profit, but there you go.

Look at this for some hyper rambling - remarkably untired aswell. Might play some more. .Wooo.

I mentioned today about not thinking the Big Slick cardroom was up to much, infact I referred to it as 'a dive' and got quickly disagreed with. I know for a fact I'm not the only person to think this but it's shame nobody would publicly confirm with me! Hooligans.

Bonjourno to any readers I may have :-)

Ok, so basically, I've not updated for a while as nothing particularly worth reporting has been going on. My plans have changed and I'm now back to tournament poker. (No I didn't lose the $10k lol - I never kicked off with it in the first place).

I'm playing solely stts and mtts now. Must admit that tournaments are more exciting if not so instantly rewarding as some cash pots can be!

For my debut back, I entered two mtts tonight and finished 13/100 and 9/140. Grrrr, so annoying but at least consistant and quite encouraging in some ways. Exited the first 9T vs 66 and the second AQ vs Q9 and AK. (Blinds 600/1200. Chip leader raised from button, I'm playing 12k and on the sb with AQ. I shove hoping to be up against anything but AK (!), bb goes all in for 13k with Q9 (each to their own I suppose!) and CL obv calls with AK. I miss - what can you do? Easily racing or I'm dominating there, imo.)

Anyway nothing exciting to report in profit stakes there, although obviously am up. Quite pleased though regardless.

Hmm, what else have I got to say? Very non-hungover today which is a first for a very long time!

Ok. Mr anonymous just asked what my roll is and what I intend to play, so I thought I'd dedicate a post to such talk.

My bankroll is $10K. However, I'm only going to use half of it at a time. Therefore I shall be starting off with $5k and if/when I want to move up limits I'll have the opportunity to add the extra $5k to my roll. I intend to play $1-2. 25 buy ins seems adequate, dropping down to $.5/1 if I have a bad run and feel myself beginning to a) worry about the money or b) tilt.
I'm undecided as to when I shall feel comfortable enough to move to $2/5. Whether it be once I've won another $5k which I've not spent, or perhaps longer. Just depends on when I feel confident enough I suppose.

I shall withdraw each week any extra money which is over my $5k roll initially. If I have a very good week I may leave some in there to add to my roll, but then I might not as I may wish to go and spend it. :-)
Bad weeks, (of which I hope there shall be few!) obviously I won't be withdrawing anything.

I'll be playing a maximum of 2 hours per session before a break. I find I really begin to flag after much longer, therefore playing lazily and stupidly. If I want to properly succeed it's very important that I only play when I'm playing to the best of my ability.

Anyhoo, just woken up so probably missed few vital points out somewhere which I shall ammend during the day when I remember them. :-)

Would also like to say thank you to all the winning cash players who've answered my billions of questions over the past few weeks. Your advice has been taken on board and is very much appreciated.

Let's hope when I look back at this blog in a years time, I shan't be glumfully reading this feeling sorry for myself.

Oh, on a recent poker note. Yesterday I played 7 HU games and won 5. 2 sngs 1st and 4th (grr) and bit of cash where I doubled my buy in.. Hung around a bit too long (over my new 2 hour rule!) and donated some of it back though. Curses. (<<<<<---- what a word)

Ps, as I'm moving out in Sept I've been apartment hunting. Oh my God, I've found a quality penthouse with amazing views which isn't actually too far out of our price range. As my friend said.. 'it's worth moving across the country just to live there isn't it?!'
(Anyway I'll do another post about my future plans later on. Am considering becoming a vet....Of course, my horse.)

Aims for the year..

Hello chums,
Apologies for lack of updates. I've been getting nagged from every direction to do a new post..(Yes I am bragging that it appears some people actually do want to read my blog!)

Here are my aims for the year (so what if it's already March?);
1) Become a consistently profitable online player
2) Qualify for a live tournament online, preferably one which includes a beach holiday in the mix.. and one that isn't only applicable to over 21s!
3) Try to make at least 4 figures from cash. This I think is a modest aim when I hear what other people at the same stakes have been making! But I am fairly new to it, so don't want to set my sights too high. (When people say 4 figures do they just mean the zeros or the first number/s aswell? Anyway, I mean all numbers - just to clarify.)
4) Stop tilting and stick by my new rules. (Which I am going to stick up all over the house to remind myself at all times to obey them..Along with pictures of Britney -pre bald head- to remind myself of the annual Lead Up To Summertime Dieting Extravaganza... or the LUTSDE as it shall be referred to in later posts)
5) Use poker winnings to buy entire new wardrobe, apart from new dress I got recently in Dublin which I love.
6) Stop getting wound up by idiots...so easily. Sometimes I just can't help myself. After all, I am not a saint.
7) Prove to people that I really am interested in poker and I do play, to try and lose the 'poker groupie' nickname I seem to have acquired. (I don't wish to be rude, but if I was to be a groupie, is it really likely I'd be choosing the poker world within which to groupify myself? Much more likely I'd be lurking around the Jay Hernandez lookalikes forum IMO - I wonder if that exists?)
8) Try to revert back to my former self which was a cheerier, jollier, more amusing version of the defensive, furious loon I've found myself morphing into recently.
9) Stop worrying about being 20 this year. Try to remember that the only way to avoid being 20 is to be dead, which is definitely worse.
10) Stop rambling on aimlessly making up ridiculous March resolutions and goals.

Onto a whole new topic entirely..CALLING BETFAIR POKER <<<<< - this is meant to be underlined but I don't know how to do it

Either I am painfully bad at multitasking (which I'm not as I've tested myself before) or Betfair need to get detachable tables! FFS It sends me into a trance having each table so close to the other. If I smoked green I'd have lost the plot by now. I feel slightly dazed after only a short session!
There's something about having the flops so close, if I'm not on fully alert mood I find myself confusing the cards I have on one table with another table's flop. If Betfair don't rectify this I'm going to start claiming any losses back under the discriminaton 'against those likely to be zombified by playing poker on tables that are so small and close together' act of 2007.

Hmm what have I to say which isn't poker related...The problem with not working and having no routine in one's life is that all the days merge into one.
Trying to amend sleep pattern. It's obviously going brilliantly seeing as I write this at 6 am and I've yet to go to sleep! As soon as I get my new BR I shall quickly sort it out. I really don't want to be playing poker really late at night, I find it much easier to take a more professional/serious attitude if I'm playing during the day and evening.

Oooh tooth is hurting, that reminds me, must sort out appointment!

Hmm. Just been reading other people's blogs and I've noticed the way I talk about my own poker gives the impression I don't rate myself at all. Just want to explain, I think I have potential to be a decent player, I think I can play well when I'm in the right frame of mind. I don't see why the other people who I know, of similar ages etc, who are successful would be able to do it and I couldn't. Maybe this could be read as arrogance.

However, I'm not whinging or whatever, but because I've been critisized so much regarding my poker (uninvited I'd like to add!).. I feel a bit as if people will be scathing and mocking of me if I speak as if I have faith in myself. Back in the day when I was playing really well, or well for somebody so new to the game, winning/final tabling in all those mtts, I was getting told alot that I was just golden and a lucky card-rack... I know those people didn't mean to knock my confidence but it really did. Really, really tilted me. (I've spoken to people this before, so if you're reading now, stop yawning ;-p) I find it incredibly hard to play well if I know people are watching, or there is the possibility that people are watching and judging, which is why it's so important for me to have aliases which are anonymous. I feel that if I read books etc and feel as if I am just as knowledgeable on the subject/diff theories of poker as many people I speak to are, that will really help my confidence. Also, there's still, imo, alot of sexism in poker..It would seem alot of men will just assume you are useless purely for being a girl. So if you detect in this blog a reluctance from me to sound as cocky or just as confident as others may do in their blogs, at the same stage in their poker careers obv (! as it's not as if I've had huge results or whatever), it's because of such factors. I'm sure once I'm making good money (as I definitely will be over this summer!) then I shall no longer feel embarrassed of speaking about myself as a poker player confidently... or whatever.

How boring that must have been for anybody who isn't me or like, my mum, to read! Anyway, HonestJoe and Jon Tickle say I can post what I like on blog...so there. :-)

People need to think about this and what it symbolises before setting foot near a ID card centre, imo.Unfortunately they already have my fingerprints, but this is also an infringement of our civil liberties and can potentially lead to criminals easily setting up innocent, law abiding citizens, as everybody will know the police have the prints of us all.ARGHHHH this is so not the kind of thing I should read upon waking. Well, seeing as I intend on moving out of home in September, then I'm going to need to start making some proper money from poker. I was talking to somebody about this and they recommended I try and crack the cash games..

My new aim now, is to read up and learn as much as I can about ring games and actually TRY. Well known that I have discipline problems, and I've always blamed that one not respecting the stakes I was playing at. 1st objective) respect the stakes I play else I won't learn anything.

So I'm going to start a new routine, it's shit having the wrecked sleep pattern anyway..what's the point of being up all night? I've also got to start only playing poker when I want to and not just because I'm bored. The amount of money I must have given away idly playing, paying no attention, irritates me to think about. For example, Builder86 and I found ourselves on the microstakes tables last night (at about 6am) raising every hand (and in my case, calling every bet!) regardless, to amuse ourselves. Just stupidity really. Donkella. Also, must keep away from other distractions. Gotta be focussed to succeed. I've not really succeeded in anything much in my life so far, mainly down to never trying anything, so this will a good test of my determination and dedication too.

Anyhooooo, I'm going to use this blog as a record and keep note of everything I'm playing and also everything I'm reading and watching.

I've got untill the end of August (my birthday too, don't you know..I like presents alot btw) to find out whether or not I'll be able to make a significant profit from cash..I'll take my poker books with me to read on whichever random beach I happen to be lying on in a month or so time! ;-)

After spectacularly f*cking up my course (in a truly Bella-esque fashion, nobody does idle like I do), I am seriously considering spending the next few months travelling. Thailand, Australia etc, the usual.. I'm hoping travelling will effectively be a bit like 'uni abroad with nice beaches', ie meeting new people, getting drunk and partying. Wooooo. Everyone I've spoken to who has been travelling raves on about it so much too.

Does anybody wanna come with me? :-)

Plans after that, are to relocate to an English city (yet to be decided), with my mate, where I shall re-take my course and experience living away from home etc.. Quite excited about that too tbh.

Sooooo, I'm looking to go travelling but I am keen to know the opinions of those who have been regarding where to visit etc..Selfish as it seems, I'm not particularly interested in the 'volunteer work' and unselfish and lazy as it seems, nor am I interesed in any 'paid work' either... Pretty much just wanna get away and have a brilliant, hopefully stress-free time.Any ideas? Also how does one go about sorting this kind of thing out?

So what has been a wasted few months and looked to be putting my life on hold for year, may turn out to be not so bad after all...

In light of my recent savagings across forums, blogs and poker tables, I would like to say this.

Basically, people seem to think it's ok to say to me things that they would never say in real life, they would never say them in real life because a) they are sad keyboard warriors and b) because I suspect even they have a miniscule knowledge of social grace and etiquette. The amount of insults I've had online regarding my poker, my appearance and me over the recent months from anonymous posters or infact people I've met is getting beyond a joke.

The general view of me just seems to be totally skewed. I don't really know how to fix it and I'm not sure I care enough to bother, but my reputation procedes me too often. I'm sick of people misunderstanding me. People can so easily project what they like onto the written word. So often what people project onto me, so isn't what I'm like.

Anyway, somebody commented they'd like this blog to be more poker based and less waffling on self-indulgently. So I'll try and amend that in the future.

Played very little poker today, profit £60. (Lol - hardly worth mentioning I know.)

Played the EWD on Betfair today. $50+5 buy in, 88 runners. Top 9 paid. Unfortunately the structure of this game is nothing short of a joke. I'm sure many of you will recall the PQX (sorry, NTX) from Crypto and I assume this is Betfair's version of it. However, on Betfair you'll have a sutuation where the average stack is 6k and the blinds are at 400/800. Bit ridic imo, they don't explain that it's a cleverly disguised turbo, false advertising.. ;-)

Anyway, I came 8th for the grand total of.... $225. Went out with QT vs 46, although I was shortstacked and had outdrawn somebody previously with my A2s vs 33, so can't really complain.

I can hardly claim I played so well, just shoved at the right time and made a good call with 99. A chimpanzee could FT though, the structure is that frikkin terrible. AI fest from level 4 onwards. (I may exaggerate slightly but you get my point.)

Anyway, as this has turned into a rambling post I may aswell keep it up. Feeling a bit rubbishment recently regarding what I'm actually going to do with my life. Definitely lacking in excitement at the moment. *note to whom it may concern..when I request excitment I mean good excitement, not unpleasant excitement such as random police arrests etc*. I just wanna fuck off travelling or something but I just don't have the bollocks (literal or figurative) to actually do it.

My life at the moment involves planning holidays ,with any friends I can find who can afford to go, so I have something to look forward to. The uni thing is looking a bit tits-upsy at the moment, as if I don't get accepted to one of the top 4 I've applied to I'm really considering waiting and reapplying next year instead. I don't fancy spending the next 3 years at Huddersfield uni or somewhere equally as upsetting. :-)

Hmmm, well I should just be grateful for my health *touch wood* and my family and friends. Also for all the other brilliant things about myself. (I jest you understand, I am very modest really.)

Why Am I So Thirsty When I Drank So Much Last Night?

Eugh. Woke up about an hour ago feeling as if I'd not drank anything for the past 3 weeks. After bribing myself to get out of bed on the promise of water, I proceeded to stagger around like an old lady minus her zimmer frame. I then had the usual 'Let's be sick. Nooo let's not be sick' debate between my brain and my stomach and slowly manoeuvred myself downstairs. 3 weetabix and a cup of tea later I'm about to embark on my first sng of the day. Fortunately my brain is winning the argument at the moment but who knows for how much longer?

I would write about tales of drunk debauchery but currently my memory fails me.

Ps on a jolly note, thought I was banned from our local haunt in town regarding an unfortunate incident involving handcuffs and a police riot van, however turns out I'm not. Happy days!

OUTRAGEOUS NEWS. After being admitted entrance into said establishment on Friday , upon returning on Saturday with friend who was main focus on said riot van night, we were informed we were 'still banned' and the manager has 'seen us on the cameras queueing.' I ask you, number 1) why do they wait untill we've queued to tell us this and number 2) does the manager really have to be so much of a bitch?

Just wanna write it down before I forget. The past 2/3 nights I've woken up an hour or so after going to sleep, completely disorientated, really hot and no idea if I'm in my own house or not. I then sit up and think for abit about where I am, assure myself I am at home and then go back to sleep.

I haven't been drunk for a week and am beginning to feel withdrawel symptoms. Fully intend on getting mashed out of my faaaaaaace tonight. (That sounds really classy doesn't it? Allow me to rephrase... Fully intend on consuming enough alcohol to have a thoroughly enjoyable evening, which involves instances becoming hilarious which wouldn't even amuse one whilst sober.)

Also, gonna be beyond greatness being able to smoke and drink at the same time. Dublin is all very well and all but that smoking ban is just beyond a joke. I am dreading it coming in in England. I never realised how much I use smoking as a prop. Sick really. Poker today has been very non-eventful. Nothing much to complain about and nothing to rave about either...

After staying up till an absurdly early hour of the morning (went to sleep about 11.30) composing 3/4 of a essay arguing for illegal drugs of all classifications being legalised, then waking up at 5pm I'm feeling slightly out of sync..

However, hopefully this strange sense of slight mania shall benefit me whilst playing tonight's DREAM TEAM on Betfair. My team (The Henchmen (pictured on the right)) and I (Headgirl) are shamefully low on the leaderboard at the moment. So far I've performed horribly. We've got the legendary Builder86 onside tonight though, so who knows what will happen! :-P

I'm determined to make the top 100 tonight. Haaaaaaaaa, I would say I am gonna win it, but it's clearly rigged in favour of those ficking Chip Monkey chimps..(winning it twice in a row? wtf, everybody knows they are shite....)

Beyond a joke now. Set up after set up ffs. Don't win when I'm ahead, obviously don't win when I'm behind and cannot win a coinflip to save my life. Seriously, if somebody said today you will die if you don't win at least 23 of the next 100 flips of this here coin, I'd have kicked the bucket hours ago. I can't take anymore. I never wanna play another sng in my life. I am on UBER TILT now. Free money if you can find me.

I know people don't wanna read poker ramblings on here but away I go anyway..

Basically I have got to sort my discipline out. The problem is I'm so used to playing poker whilst chatting, forumming, arguing, watching tv, anything infact to distract from the fact I'm playing that now when I try to focus purely on the game I find it so insanely boring. When I first started playing online I genuinely enjoyed playing and from watching my friends trying to learn online I reckon I too would have found it quite hard to multi-task whilst playing. Wish I had never learnt how to now!

So anyway, a combination of not 100% concentration plus running badly results in distressing poker times! Also, I challenge anybody to be making consistent money playing sngs on crypto at the moment. Hate to be seen as searching for excuses, but I have blamed myself above ^^ (!!), but it's so hard to get a 10 seater non turbo game these days. Definitely not possible to get them regularly enough to be making any significant profit anyway...which leaves only thunder 6paks to play, which despite what a few people try to claim, are imo, just a luckfest. When you're running g00t (the correct useage?) you're reeeeeeech and when you're running bad, you're very poor, very queeeeeck indeed.

So, in conclusion, when I first started playing cash a few months ago I built my roll u from v little to quite alot in a short amount of time. I then got complacent and started playing way out of my roll, WITH my whole roll at one table. Which was stupid. I then was very kindly lent some money which I donked off on stupid tilt and played ridiculously with. What I should definitely do is sort myself another roll and actually try to take it all (cash) seriously. I've said it 100 times before but maybeeeeee this time will be different...

Oh one more thing. I find it really hard to play now unless I respect the stakes I'm playing at. I don't wanna be grinding out making £100 a week, I want the big wins, but it's ridiculous to expect to be making loads if I don't have the bankroll to support it.... So basically *thinly disguised, does anybody wanna lend me £10k?* post. :)

(You never know, this might work. Like that girl who advertised on the internet wanting somebody to pay for her boob job and one day woke up and found £3k in her account from an anonymous donator.)

EBwifbgsgnpisbgn - Just woke up from the bizarre dreams I was having which involved being really high up at my new university on balconies, in car parks and in lifts which you could see out of and constantly worried I would fall. Also, Britney Spears and her new girlfriend (??) featured for a while. All v odd. Oh yea, also a guest appearance from this dude I used to fancy a bit when I was like 13. N his mates, one of who is quite fit still now.

I type this as I just ran JJ into AA HU in another thunder 6pak. Ffs. Beats 3rd though I suppose.

Anyhoo, everybody else seems to have a blog and a few people have mentioned to me how they think it helps their game in terms of taking poker seriously etc...seeing as I have major discipline problems I assume starting a a blog won't hurt! ('Cept for you fuckers who are gonna laugh when you see this...grrr :-)). Soooo, at the moment I am solely playing sngs on the DTD trading scheme, slightly soul destroying, but a free bankroll for sngs is a free bankroll ultimately. Was doing quite well untill the beginning of this week, in which I have proceeded to return most of my profit back, a mixture of shit outdraws and playing whilst doing 140 other things at the same time.

Been away in Dublin since Tuesday on a mini holiday (if you can call going to somewhere wet, cold and windy a holiday) which was cool. Played a bit online whilst there and disocovered I am not running well this week! I don't know how many times I can come 3rd in 6paks but I must surely be on for a record of most consecutive bubbles now! Also played cash live for the first time ever ---->> (playing live in London), only the second time I've ever played PL too... I took the definition of a rock to a whole new level. Lol. Bought in for 100 euros at 1/2, managed to double up with QQ but proceeded to donk it back plus 15 euros more. Coulda been worse and quite enjoyed the experience. Was hammered though. Obv.

Had a good time in Dublin, nice to catch up with some of the Irish players we met in Singapore. Not quite the same vibe/experience/as much fun as when we were in Asia in November but still a cheery trip. My irish accent is 'fucking deadly' now too! (Note to all; Irish 5 star hotels are not what you would expect! That's right the FITZWILLIAM DUBLIN we were most unimpressed upon being informed we weren't allowed guests back to our room after 12am...You a hotel or a youth hostel?)

Just realised how hard it is to write a blog without sounding like a dickhead. Still, I shall perservere with it.
